DASS链接 for 学生

To get a DASS链接 account, you must apply for accommodations 和/or services from DASS. If you've never applied for accommodations at SMU before, head over to our 请求服务 页面, w在这里 you can see a detailed overview of the accommodation process 在这里 at SMU, including step-by-step instructions for completing the 住宿 Request Form 和 uploading your supporting documentation, as well as guidelines for supporting documentation. When you've finished making your request, you'll get a welcome email containing instructions on how to 登录DASS链接.

Once you’re logged in, you’ll see your DASS链接 主页. Navigation tabs run along the left side of the 页面: Home, 住宿, 任命, 文档, 资源, 调查, 测试普氏, 日历, 和 配置文件 & 发短信.

You will also notice three sections: 新闻提要, w在这里 announcements 和 notifications will appear intermittently throughout the semester; 快捷键, which contains links to frequently visited 页面s in DASS链接; 和 有用的网站, which contains links to frequently visited 页面s on the DASS website.

可访问性的要求 allows you to view your initial request for accommodations 和 a list of your currently authorized accommodations. 

补充 is w在这里 you can request new accommodations 和 services in addition to the ones you already have. This is also w在这里 you'll make a request to renew an accommodation that requires an update or has expired. (指令)

学期的要求 is w在这里 you'll need to go before each new semester to renew your accommodations 和 request updated accommodation letters for your new instructors. You can use the 学期的要求 2 weeks before classes start. (指令)

住宿信 contains a list of all of your accommodation letters, as well as system messages 和 alerts sent to you from DASS链接. You can also sign your 住宿信 在这里. (指令)

设备 不被DASS使用. DASS does not loan assistive devices or equipment at this time.

文档 lets you see all of the supporting documents you have uploaded to DASS链接, as well as those uploaded on your behalf by DASS staff members. This is also w在这里 you'll upload new documents, if needed. (指令)

The 任命 tab is w在这里 you can request an appointment with the Director, 你的协调员, or the Learning Specialist 在这里 at DASS. (指令)

Here, you can view "Student 文档" that you may have uploaded, but not "Accessibility 文档." To view 和 upload documents to DASS链接, please select 文档 in the 住宿 drop-down menu instead of this tab.

The Resource Library contains useful forms, like the flexible attendance agreements 和 course substitution paperwork.

DASS asks students 和 faculty to complete a survey every now 和 then. Please select Survey on the left side menu of your home 页面 和 complete any active survey by clicking on “Respond”.

DASS链接 is no longer being utilized for scheduling proctored tests.
