    Dr. Miller, 大学荣誉计划和奖学金的副院长, grew up in Charlotte, 毕业于阿巴拉契亚州立大学，获得历史学和新闻学学位. He then completed a Ph.D. 密歇根州立大学俄罗斯和中东欧历史专业.  Dr. Miller currently is at work on a book exploring gender, material culture, and everyday life in the final Soviet decades.

As Program Coordinator, she coordinates the Hilltop Scholars Program, Mustang Scholars Program, President's Scholars Program, University Honors Program, as well as the Hyer Society.

    When not working or studying, 亚历克斯喜欢为达拉斯丑角女子橄榄球队打橄榄球, spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and telling her German Shepherd, Gatsby, what a good boy he is.
